What is a 510 cartridge?

A 510 cartridge is the oil half of a vape, without the battery. The 510 refers to the threading — ten threads, each half a millimetre — which is the near-universal standard, so a cartridge from one brand fits a battery from another.

Using and storing it

Start on the lowest voltage your battery offers. Too much power burns the oil and produces a harsh, scorched taste that ruins the cartridge — you can always step up, but you cannot undo a burnt coil.

Store it upright. Cartridges left on their side can leak around the mouthpiece, and cold makes the oil thick enough to drag.
