Description

Though the origins of Kosher Kush are largely unknown, most growers agree that it contains some OG in its lineage. The strain comes from California and originally had a far more offensive name before dispensary owners decided such a good marijuana shouldn’t be ruined by a few thoughtless stoners.

Kosher Kush Hash

Hash pressed from Kosher Kush, one of the older and more decorated names in the Kush family. Hash is the plant’s resin separated from the flower and compressed — the oldest cannabis concentrate there is, and still the only one that behaves well in a joint.

Why strain-specific hash is worth noticing

Much hash is made from mixed material, so a product named for a single strain tells you the resin came from one source. With a Kush-family strain that means the earthy, faintly fuel-like character of the line should carry through into the press rather than being averaged out.

Using it

Crumble a small amount into a joint with flower, add it on top of a bowl, or run it in a vaporiser rated for concentrates. If a piece has firmed up, brief gentle warmth makes it workable again. Start small — hash is considerably stronger by weight than flower.

Storage

Cool, dark and wrapped. Hash is the most stable concentrate there is and keeps for a very long time properly stored, but heat softens it into a mess and light degrades it.
