An ounce is 28 grams — around 56 half-gram joints, or roughly a month for someone smoking a gram a day. At $69 that works out to about $2.46 per gram, which sits mid-range of our ounce range of roughly $39 to $100.

Ounce deals are sold as a full 28 g ounce only. We do not break them into eighths, quarters or half ounces — the flat ounce price is the entire point of the deal and it is what keeps the per-gram cost where it is. What does Road Dog smell and taste like?

Fuel, first and foremost. Diesel dominates the nose and carries through the taste, with tropical fruit sweetness underneath, a sharp mint note cutting across it and earthy, chemical undertones at the base. Myrcene, caryophyllene and limonene are the dominant terpenes.

It is a loud strain and a greasy one — the resin production is high enough to be obvious the moment you break a bud apart.

What kind of high is Road Dog?

Heavy and physical, in line with the 70% indica side. It is the sort of strain people keep for the end of the day rather than reaching for casually, and the potency means smaller amounts go further than you might expect.

If you like the Chem and Dawg family of gas strains, this sits squarely in that lineage. If fuel profiles are not your thing, look at Cereal Milk or Gastro Pop instead.

How to keep an ounce fresh

Get it out of the bag it ships in. An airtight glass jar kept cool, dark and around 55–62% relative humidity holds flavour and potency for months, while a bag left in a warm room turns dry and harsh within weeks. If you are working through the ounce slowly, split it across two jars so you are not airing out the whole supply every time you open it.
