Getting the most out of it

Take short draws rather than long hard pulls — two to three seconds is plenty, and pulling harder floods the coil instead of heating the oil properly. Wait a few minutes between draws; vapour comes on much faster than an edible but still takes a couple of minutes to land fully.

Store it upright at room temperature. Cold thickens the oil and makes it drag, and leaving a pen in a hot car does the opposite and can leak it.
