An ounce is 28 grams — around 56 half-gram joints, or roughly a month for someone smoking a gram a day. At $75 that works out to about $2.68 per gram, which sits near the top of our ounce range of roughly $39 to $100.

Ounce deals are sold as a full 28 g ounce only. We do not break them into eighths, quarters or half ounces — the flat ounce price is the entire point of the deal and it is what keeps the per-gram cost where it is. What does Gastro Pop smell and taste like?

This is the strain people buy for flavour. It leads sweet and sugary — berry and grape — with sour citrus and fresh tree fruit layered behind it. The nose carries the same berry-grape overtone but adds tangy apple and a rich, spicy diesel base that stops it becoming cloying.

What kind of high is Gastro Pop?

Soothing and numbing across both head and body. It usually starts lifted, happy and unusually outgoing — one of the more sociable indica-dominant strains — before the physical side settles in properly.

Be warned that the appetite effect is not subtle. A sharp hunger tends to arrive partway through and builds from there, so it is worth having something to eat within reach before you start.

How to keep an ounce fresh

Get it out of the bag it ships in. An airtight glass jar kept cool, dark and around 55–62% relative humidity holds flavour and potency for months, while a bag left in a warm room turns dry and harsh within weeks. If you are working through the ounce slowly, split it across two jars so you are not airing out the whole supply every time you open it.
