Ice Cream Cake is commonly listed as Wedding Cake crossed with Gelato #33, from Seed Junky Genetics. Both parents are pillars of the modern dessert family, and the cross inherits the best of each — the frosting-like sweetness of Wedding Cake and the smooth, creamy body of Gelato.

Worth noting: it is a different plant from the strain simply called “Ice Cream”, which is a Paradise Seeds line with undisclosed genetics. The names get conflated often.
